The Emerging Artists Exhibition is part of the Open Studios Art Tour and is sponsored by the San Benito Arts Council. It is an opportunity for new and amateur artists to get public exposure through a 2-week group exhibition at the Blak Sage Gallery in downtown Hollister.  It allows new artists to be part of the larger Open Studios event with excellent publicity and support with the aim to encouage Emerging Artists to establish their own art studios and join the ranks of Open Studios Artists for the annual tour.

The Arts Council encourages all student artists, grades 9 to college level, and all adult amateur artists to participate in this show.  Applications for the 2012 Emerging Artist Exhibition are available below.
