ART NIGHTS at FARMERS MARKET
We invite you to experience ART NIGHTS on the First Wednesdays of the month at the Certified Farmers Market from May-September. Art Nights is a coming together of art, culture and community in the center of downtown Hollister, featuring performances by Mariachi de Alma, Mr. O’s Community Jazz Band, San Benito Dance Academy, Sammy’s Animation Dance Community and others! This event is free and supported by a partnership between the San Benito County Arts Council and Hollister Downtown Association to encourage community engagement, creative placemaking and arts accessibility within the heart of our downtown. For more information, please contact us at 831.636.2787.
We are staunch advocates of public art throughout the community. We have funded several public art projects, including the Freemont Memorial Tunnel (2015) and The Bounty (2009) murals by Arturo Rosette, and are proud partners of the Utility Box Mural Project (2015). Please visit our Public Art webpage to learn more about public art.
