The San Benito County Arts Council will be participating in #GivingTuesday for the second year in a row, on November 27th, to bring accessible arts programming to students throughout San Benito County.
#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. #GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday to kick off the holiday giving season and to inspire people to collaborate in improving their local communities and to give back in impactful ways to the charities and causes they support.
In honor of this #GivingTuesday, the Arts Council is relaunching their fundraising campaign, The Art of Giving. All donations made during this event will fund Arts in Education programs and initiatives throughout San Benito County, including their After School Mariachi Program for students at Calaveras School, Life Skills Art Program, Artists in the Schools Program and free Performing Arts Cultural Assemblies for students and families at some of our county’s most rural schools. Anyone can donate at any time to support these and other programs that foster arts accessibility, cultural diversity and community vitality in San Benito County!
Your contribution on #GivingTuesday is tax-deductible (tax id 57-1241278). Should you have any questions about your donation or our programs and services, please feel free to contact us anytime at 831.636.2787 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for helping us make BIG things happen!
